You no doubt have many questions.
Q: What is it that you do?
A: I guess the best description I have of what we do, of what we
are, is: Concierge of Killington and the Region. We know the area,
the people and businesses, the current events and history, where to
look for help, assistance, fun, excitement and knowledge. We make
ourselves available to guests of Killington.
Q: Do you charge for your questions?
A: No
Q: Do you offer unbiased opinions?
A: We qualify all of our opinions.
Q: Do you really help plan day trips for
free?
A: Yes. We do not book any events, nor make reservations for free.
We are currently putting together a database for public use to aid
guests to our region find the help and resources they may need,
quickly.
Q: If I have lodging question,
will you help?
A: Yes. Beware, I work at the Cascades Lodge on Killington, and I
will use them as a reference point. I am not all that familiar with
properties outside of Rutland County, but I will try to help. I
offer the same caveats to questions regarding specific retail and restaurant facilities, too.
Q: How do you make your money?
A: I negotiate a fee prior to the commencement of "for-fee services".
These services include, but are not necessarily limited to:
Leading and or accompanying clients on day trips, hikes, alpine skiing on Killington and Pico, cross-country ski trip in the green mountains.
X: Miscellaneous Information...
These services include extensive knowledge on area activities, events and trivia. He/she will possess good technique and management skills, and knowledge of the dominant sport or activity engaged in. Unless it is specified, the guide is not classified as an instructor.
For those wishing a skilled professional, such as ski instructor, golf pro, tennis pro, etc., direction and connection to the proper authority will be made.
Our expertise lies in the completeness of the experience for the guest. Such is the concierge of Killington and Rutland.
